I have a strong passion for photography and it all began when I was given a camera at my Aunt's wedding back in 1996!

I started out taking photos around Windsor, flowers, my backyard and turning them into greeting cards and mostly just selling them to friends, people at church and at the senior centers craft sales. It than went from there. I had started making greeting cards when I was about 15 or 16 years old.

From that point on I started to get into taking photos for friends and that was back on film!!! With that film camera my mom gave me $100 towards the camera for my birthday and than I bought it. I than saved up all my pennies from my part-time job and got my first SLR digital camera! I was in heaven, literally...I would bring that camera EVERYWHERE! It was huge though, not just your average point and shoot camera that you can stash in your purse (mind you my purses were a bit large sometimes so I could still do this). I used that camera everywhere!

When I was 18 I photographed my first wedding. I was a bit nervous, it was my first BIG gig, I didn't want to miss anything up since this was THEIR special day! The day went well and while I was taking pictures it was like just a small portrait setting but just very large!

Since than I've been taking photos for many different events, birthday parties, weddings, portraits, newborns, and many more.

I love nature! It's a beauty and one of my favorite backgrounds!

It's nice to follow through and grow in people's lives. I've watched one family grow from just two children to three and one on their way. I appreciate the people that allow me to grow and learn new skills every time I am able to use my camera and capture memories for their family and themselves.

People always ask if I went to school for photography: I took a couple night classes at St. Clair College. I am currently working towards my Human Resources and Marketing diploma. I did have an interview and got into Photography at Humber College but didn't want to move away just yet, so I can always go back and get into the program.

I also like to thank those that are in my life that have encouraged me to do what I love, cause photography is truly what I love to do!

One project that I will be working on this year is to take photos in my city Windsor, Ontario for a few months of it's beauty and create postcards and greeting cards out of them. I will give a portion of the money towards a local charity.

My goal is to make photography my full time career. One day I will get to my dream!
